Jan. 7 — BBVA Compass Bowl 2012 & McJunkin

Birmingham, Alabama hosts the 2012 BBVA Compass Bowl and Plano football alumnus Blake McJunkin will be there with his team, the Southern Methodist University Mustangs.

SMU (7-5) will be playing the Pittsburg Panthers (6-6).  Pittsburg is favored by 3 1/2.

McJunkin ended the regular season playing center as a senior in 3 games with 1 assisted tackle.  He is second on the depth chart at center for this bowl game.

The game will be televised on ESPN, with kickoff at noon.
