Tentative 2010 schedules set

Plano will have a scrimmage and three non-district football games followed by a bye week in the fall to get prepared for a seven-game district stretch to begin with Allen.
The tentative schedule has been released by football coach Jaydon McCullough.
The non-district opponents will be Garland Lakeview, Irving MacArthur and Mansfield Legacy.
The schedule will open with a road scrimmage at Mesquite. In a change from last season, Plano will play its first two games at home against Lakeview and Irving MacArthur. A road tilt at Legacy will close the non-district schedule.
The opener will be the first meeting with Lakeview since consecutive Plano wins in 2004 and 2005. Plano will meet MacArthur for the third time in three seasons the following week, looking to avenge a loss at MacArthur in 2009. Plano has never met Legacy.
The district schedule opens at Allen and Plano will draw former non-district opponent Hebron in a home district opener Oct. 1. The district schedule continues with road meetings against Flower Mound and Marcus for the first time since 2005, before hosting Lewisville and winding up the district slate as a visitor with Plano East and the host to Plano West. Never has Plano met Plano East and Plano West consecutively in the final two weeks of the regular season.
