Plano twice rallied from second-half deficits, but The Woodlands pulled away in overtime of the round of 32 game Saturday morning in the state 7-on-7 tournament. Click here to read the full story.

Offense — Holt Hoetger, Robert Robinson: Both players averaged two touchdowns per game.
No surprise to Plano fans as Holt Hoetger makes 5A Texas Football’s “Surprise Standout” list.
Defense — Collin Brence: Big playmaker on defense. Goalline target on numerous conversion attempts. Austin Birdsall: Defender played key role throughout tournament.
Hidden Gems — Clayton Parlin: Slot receiver played big in key situations. Made tough catch to send round of 32 game into overtime on conversion. Brad Tipton: Receiver made four touchdown grabs in final two pool games Friday.
